5/13/15: Trying out the jumperoo and a pacifier

Now that Zane is able to hold his head up a bit, he has been trying out the jumperoo. He seems to like it, but mostly just tries to lick it.

The noises and the lights from the toys on the jumperoo must be pretty exciting, as Zane's eyes get really big when he watches them.

Finally, Miss Sonia at school was able to find a pacifier that Zane would actually keep in his mouth. I think I need to go out and buy 5 more of these. *sigh* Look at those eyelashes!

5/12/15: Hi Zane!

Samara was getting ready for bed, so I put Zane in the rocker. Once he was strapped in, I said "Hi Zane!"and he actually responded to his name! It was very cute. His face just lights up and he looks so happy!

I gave Zane a bath and wrapped him up in a hooded towel. He looked so cute I couldn't resist taking some pictures.

4/22/15: Play mat and Samara helps with the swing

Zane has been enjoying the play mat more and I think he is making progress grabbing the hanging toys, instead of wildly swinging his arms around.

I love this next video for several reasons: 1) Samara is being such a cute little helper by setting up the swing for Zane. 2) It has been over a year since this video was filmed and hearing how much progress Samara has made in terms of her speaking is incredible. 3) How enthralled Zane is with the hanging lambs for the first 10 or so seconds. And 4) Zane's bug eyes as he realizes someone is right next to him around 14 seconds.

4/20/15: Trying to get Zane to laugh

Writing the date for this post is sort of unreal as it has been around a YEAR since I last posted videos and pictures. For those of you who are dying to see pics more frequently, follow me on Instagram to see more timely updates of the kids.

At this point in time, Zane was beginning to laugh. After feeding him, I would do anything I could to see and hear some cute little giggles.
